Kim received the designation of Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD) in 2007. The CPO-CD® certification program is an intensive 18-months of instruction and individual work with a mentor coach followed by an oral examination by a peer review panel. Kim is an ICD Specialist in Attention Deficit Disorder, Chronic Disorganization and Hoarding. Additionally, she holds Certificates of Study in ten areas, including Understanding the Needs of the Student CD Client, Working with Aging CD Clients, and Learning Styles and Modalities.
Kim is an ICD Master Trainer, the highest level of certification awarded by ICD.
Kim is a Certified Organizer Coach (COC®). She received her certification from the Institute for Applied Coaching in 2009 after two years of training from Coach Approach for Organizers. The training emphasized brain-based coaching and coaching for ADHD.
Kim has received Advanced Training in Collaborative Therapy for Clutter Management, a team approach with psychologists, therapists and professional organizers to assist people with clutter and hoarding issues.
Kim received her B.S. from University of Colorado, Boulder and has taken graduate coursework at Tulane University and Connecticut College.
